What happened recently between a Russian SU-35 and an American F-35?

Just a side bar about software causing actual damage to the hardware of a computer. While that is not likely, many many years ago, the company I worked for produced a computer that had bi-directional chip sets for the data in and out of different boards. Those bi-directional chips were controlled by software and if the software had an error and a board was trying to output data onto a bus and at that time had another board putting data on that bus then the result was that some of the bits would be being pulled Low by one board while being pulled High by another board and those bi-directional bus driver chips would fail and have to be replaced. So, it is plausible that software problems can damage some kinds of components on some kinds of computers.

Also, there is the true history of a virus that America produced that looked to see that it was on the correct Iranian centrifuge computer and caused the centrifuges to overspin and be damaged. If a disk drive could be caused to overspun or remain spinning at a very high speed too long it's possible that that could be cause damage.
Stuxnet

Stuxnet simply removed the RPM limits on a certain type of industrial motor controller. The same controller that just happened to be what the Iranians were using to operate their centrifuges that were being used to purify nuclear material. The result was that the centrifuges oversped and tore themselves apart. No computers were harmed and none ever showed any warning of the centrifuges overspeeding so it took the Iranians some time to figure out what had caused the centrifuges to wreck themselves.

Apparently NATO has already passed something regarding protecting Finland and Sweden while the decision is made about them joining NATO so that Russia cannot intimidate them while this is going on.
Sweden's NATO application was held up by Turkey. Why?
Because Turkey is predominately Muslim and some dumb-ass redneck hillbilly Swedes were burning the Koran and posting it on social media.

No idea what an "F-13" is, maybe a supersecret modified YF-12?:

Russia will face even bigger losses than in Ukraine if they step over the border. We have been training since ww2 against Russia. Nato or not...

"What does Turkey want?
It’s demanding that Sweden extradite suspected Kurdish militants and alleged coup-plotters wanted by Turkey and stop supporters of Kurdish movements in Sweden displaying their allegiances openly. (Sweden’s laws on freedom of speech make it hard for the government to stifle public expressions of support for Kurdish independence.) Initially Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan opposed Finland’s bid too. But he lifted the block on March 17" Washington Post March 17, 2023.

Not really. Trying to stay away from the politics per se, but that was more about official Swedish support for Kurdish independence groups.

One thing to remember is that religion isn't a factor for relations between states. It can be a discussion item used for shaping public opinion, though.

Religion is something that should be respected even if it's not a religion that you practice. Anyone who outright disrespects a particular religion is an ignorant fool.
Possibly true, except the same rules that allow you to post your thoughts here, allow the ignorant fool to burn a Quran. So who gets to be the thought police?

I don't respect religions that opress women. If that makes me an ignorant fool, then so be it.
That’s highly debatable. The western “liberation” of women seems to have an opposite effect, they are statistically more miserable than ever.

Perhaps keeping them in a household and taking care of children, instead of 9-5 in an office cubicle is not as “oppressive” as we were led to believe.

I’m any case, how other countries govern themselves is not and should not be of any concern to anyone else outside. That’s exactly how conflicts get started. And those that claim moral high ground and are adamant on imposing it on others are usually the most evil people one can meet.

What was that saying, “Road to hell is paved with good intentions” or something like that?

That's why some countries don't let women drive.

Or NFL referees. They would bring up penalties from two years ago.

Since we’ve wandered from fighter aircraft capabilities into discussion of religion and oppression- it’s lock time.
