I have a 2005 BMW R1200RT. The BMW filter part number is 11427673541. Is there an acceptable substitute from Bosch or Puralator? I called Bosch and they don't have a cross. The 2005 takes a new filter. Prior year models used a different filter and could use a Bosch 3330. I can't find any updated cross reference tables.
Thanks

Here is a table from another forum which lists a bunch of filters for BMW bikes - (go down to Section 5.2). The part number you gave matches the one he's using to do the cross reference. Using the Fram PH6063 at the Purolator site, you find a cross to the ML16825. The Bosch 3330 certainly should work, according to that chart.

On my R1200GS, I'm using a K&N 164 filter, go here and enter the search criteria for your bike, because the filter is stuck up there beside the frame rail and it's really hard to get at it - the K&N's welded on nut makes it quite a bit easier!!

Interesting - the filter for the BMW will also fit a lot of other stuff, like Kohler lawn mower engines!! A guy I know is using a SuperTech ST3614 (Bosch 3330 crosses to the 3614) on his new R1200RT with no issues.
