You can go through some UOA's to see which oils have moly. Something I've noticed is that all oils I've checked that meet the JASO valve train spec have a good amount of moly. Could just be a coincidence though.

Along the same lines, what are industry averages for MoDTC vs MoDisulfide? Both will show-up on VOA/UOA but they work through very different mechanisms. If you know how much moly is in an oil, do you know how much MoDTC or MoDisulfide is in there?

I am sorry to get on the soapbox again, but when you know how much moly is in an oil, what do you actually know about the oil? Knowledge is power, but only in the context of meaning.
