What do you use to get.....

I have tried to remove oil stains and have had very little luck. I love to grill and have ruined quite a few shirts from getting a little grease on them. I usually put on old clothes when working on cars because it's so easy to ruin them.

It's about impossible to get an oil stain out of today's cotton clothes even if you get right on it with some type of treatment. After it's been washed and dried, forget it.
You are correct. I've tried a myriad of stain removers, including the Fels Naphtha and the TSP with no effect!

My middle son worked at an amusement park on Go karts and Boat motors. He was covered with oil. He would put his clothes in the washer and load a cup at least of Mean Green. They came out really pretty nice. If the stain has been washed already I don't know if that would work. Wife rubs Goop into my greasy spots.

SUCCESS! I tried CLR on a rag that started life a 100% cotton t-shirt. I used q-tips to put a small amount of CLR on the stain, let it sit for about 5 seconds and then rinsed with cold water. GONE!!

I use Zote and Fels Naptha works every time. Also any detergent with oxi clean in it. The parts stores around here also have Fast Orange laundry detergent which works ok too for the most part.
