Pocketknives. Dunno how many for sure, but far more than I could ever use. Lots of Victorinox Swiss Army knives, in various models. Some modern one-handed lockbacks, Kershaw, Benchmade, Cold Steel, a few others. About a dozen MIB yellow-handled Case pocketknives. Some French Opinels in size #'s 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10. Plus about a dozen or so various belt knives. Pretty silly of me, I'll admit- especially since I can do about 95% of what I need a pocketknife to do these days with a tiny Wenger or Victorinox keychain knife.
Radios, all solid state. Small to medium AM/FMs, mostly Sonys. The Sonys seem to have this nasty habit of working well for years on end.
4 or 5 medium to large GE's, including an old chrome-grilled AM only model(P-780), a Superadio III and a basket-case Superadio 1. Also: Too many small to medium-large Shortwave portable models- 3 modern digital models, the rest analog. Includes one 1980's JVC SW/AM/FM/Cassette boombox. Also kinda silly of me, since shortwave seems to be dying off fast. #1 Example- the BBC no longer targets a single SW broadcast to the USA, and is greatly reduced on SW everywhere.
Ammo- haven't bought any for several years. Mostly .22 LR bought on sale in 500-round bricks, maybe 3000-4000 rounds in bricks, plus another 1500 or so in single boxes- some over 20 yrs old I'm sure. When the Bud's Discount centers closed down some years back, I got 12 ga 00 buck for cheap- easily a lifetime supply, prime fodder for the "house gun". No place to go shoot around here now- and I live in the semi-boonies.
Pellet guns- have several nice ones that I never get to shoot, just got too civilized around here. One break-action spring-piston Chinese B-19 .22 cal rifle worked over by air rifle tuner "Charlie Da Tuna", a Crossman .177 pump-up pistol that shoots like a rifle, a real nice late 1970's Sheridan Blue Streak .20 cal/5mm pump-up, and a near collector grade old Benjamin .22 cal pump-up #342. Plus the old home-repaired .22 Benjamin Dad & I rebuilt when I was about 14. Haven't bought any for a few years now, have no plans to get more. Oh yeah- I'll confess to having too many pellets for 'em too.
Here lately- I've been downloading lots of Old Time Radio programs for free(legally)- does that count as hoarding?
Spent too many evenings doing it, but now have at least a couple hundred hours to play on my new El Cheepo MP3/WMA player. I even downloaded some today-
The Avenger . I especially like Red Skelton & Jack Benny.
