Sure miss my 1978 Toyota pick-em-up truck I sold a few months ago but its carburetor balked too often when winter's frigid air descended upon the blizzard-swept tornado-ridden plains of the cultural backwater of the lame state of Nebraska.
Sniff.
And, I miss "the Bean," my 1991 Toyota Previa van I sold shortly after selling the pick-em-up. It was rock-solid reliable but advanced age and mileage meant some expensive repairs were looming over the horizon so........
After selling the "old faithfuls" and with plans on moving to a very rural area to escape corporate America, scummy politicians, millions of illegal aliens, cities, noise, heck.... a whole buncha' things......... and..... knowing that waaaaaay out in the boonies it would be best to own a "standard" American vehicle to ease parts procurement, access to repair facilities, etc...... I decided a Chevy pick-em-up would be the best conveyance for the boondocks.
A 2004 Silverado 4x4 long bed standard cab with 4.8 liter motorvator, auto transmission, heavy duty suspension, towing package, locking rear end.... and, little else. It's a WT (work truck) model. Hand cranked windows, vinyl floor vice carpet, etc. A basic barebones truck that will hopefully last 20 years.
