Thats reversed! The guys with their "Bio Cars" ask the local McDonalds for their grease so the 20-year-old person can drive for liek a Month on it or something. Smelling liek Fries.

I feed it to the Canadien Geese or just pour it down my well head, straight to the water supply I always say.

If I'm feeling ambitious I re bottle it and return it to Wal-Mart, then sit and wait for the guy who buys it to post his outrage on BITOG.

I have a galvanized five gallon can (I don't think it'll ever rust out!) it gets dumped into....when full, it goes to my county recycle barrel and most likely someone turns it into free electricity....that's fine by me!

Same here although I seldom have much used oil to deal with. Pretty much just yard equipment( snow blower and lawn mower )plus my 4-stroke outboard done once a year each. Vehicle's oil is changed at the dealer. After draining I use old milk jugs then take it to AutoZone for recycling.

I drop it off at Pepboys. When we used to sell Christmas trees we'd save it to paint the top of the stumps in January, though. There are some bugs that burrow in the sold stumps that can hatch out and attack the other (living) trees that used motor oil is really good at preventing.

I dump it into yellow Pennzoil bottles and haul them to the Conspiracy Theorist Supply shop, then fan the flames when they show up on rockinricers.com forums.

AutoZone. Since they mix the motor oil and gear and trans fluids, I'm assuming it gets burned eventually rather than recycled into new oil. Wish I knew what to do with antifreeze and brake fluid.

I have three 2.5Gal jugs that originally had Rotella 15W40 in it. I dump used oil in those until I have 5 Gallons and take it to WalMart for recycling.

If the oil came in a 5 quart jug, I put the used oil in the jug, and to autozone for recycling.

I also keep a few emptied windshield washer fluid gallon jugs around in case I change oil with 1 quart bottles - much easier to just drain into the washer fluid jugs vs. 1 quart bottles!! (yes I did try once) lol!!

Mine just sits in a shed...forever...

I really need to do something with it, but pouring oil out is just not as exciting as pouring oil in.

I take my oil and filter to my trusted Infiniti master technician who changes it for only $15, and while it is on the lift get a free look-see of all components under the car.....quite a bargain in my book

I give all of my used oils to my next door neighbor, who uses them in waste oil furnaces at the heavy equipment shop that he manages.

He's always most appreciative for it.

I add some liquid vapo-rub and use it as cough syryp.

....and whatever I DONT use for that, I keep in a large tupperware bit in bottles, and take to the hazerdous waste depot, or the local Canadian tire!
