What car do you keep inside?

I'm often criticized for putting the SpecV in the garage and leaving the Infiniti and STI outside.. but for me the later ones are very repleasable cars (even though I love subbies), my SpecV is not worth much, but it's got the most value to ME.

I can't stand the thought of anything bad happening to my SpecV, heck one day I'll have kids and I think they'll get to ride in it, I've got way too many memories with it, victories, tricks and things learned, etc.

Heck! My golden retriever is not allowed to ride in it, he gets to ride in the more "meh" G35

So I ask you, which of your cars gets the honor of having the garage.

I have a three car garage, so the Vibe, the newly acquired Mazda Protege5 and the Nissan Altima all live indoors. The '02 Camry with 226K miles lives outside where it can leak on the street

Wifes car in the winter, the kids' amazing collection of toys in her bay come summer.

My bike hugs the back wall in winter, making room for the grocery getter buick. Helps unloading esp in precipitation. Don't have snow tires for the buick and it has car seats for the kids so it stays inside during real bad weather.

Now, my bike is taking several feet of the deep end, and a project truck on ramps is half in, half out. Like the maxima except the inside part is up.

I have money and (barely) enough space for a two post lift but am hemming and hawing over how much it'll get used vs how much it will be in the way.

Hmmmm in my garage, I park my ZX-10R, NSX, MR2, and RX-7. Outside is my Tacoma. Oh and my Elise is outside on the driveway too.

Haha, I'm not the only one with emotional attachment.
I sold my perfectly good running '02 6 speed Maxima because I could not bear to part with my 96 SL2 which I love dearly.

Now though, the day has come where I am parting with both my Saturns (for insurance reasons too) and getting 1 new car.

My answer today... My 1996 SL2.

My answer next week, my only car, a new Civic.

The beautiful elise is parked outside! Gasp!!!!!

The z is parked inside with the hummer. The corolla lives outside. My future bike will be parked inside the house then move into the garage after my girl can't stand it anymore lol (I love motorcycles)

My restored 1986 Mercury Capri stays in the garage. Considering there is no way to replace most body panels on the car, I can't risk it rusting or getting damaged sitting out on the street!

The Montana, Fusion and my Crown Vic.
Really, the Ranger should be in instead of the Montana, but the Montana and Fusion are double stacked in the same bay, so people have to play musical cars depending on who is leaving first.

I've never kept any of my cars under cover, that space is reserved for motorcycles.I have a 3 car garage,it has never had a car stay overnight.

Never had a car live under cover...cept a 3 year co-rental arrangement that needed co-renter's "rights" preserved.

My Silverado is garaged and the Honda stays outside. The truck is paid for, driven only occasionally, and I hate washing and waxing it. The Honda warms up quicker and is driven daily.

We can fit both in the garage, but it's a hassle and requires my "supervision" to park them.

The Cobalt is always garaged, as is the Ranger.

The third vehicle varies depending on whether it's my DD or not -- right now the Sonata is so it's outside; once the weather warms up and I can consistently drive a 2wd pickup without worrying about snow or ice, the Sonata takes up residence in the garage and the Dakota sits outside. This came in handy last summer when I was touring on weekends and was able to basically keep the Sonata packed and ready to go but didn't have to cart the junk around with me to/from the train station.
