This wonderful site and the great minds on it have helped wean me from the clutches of Amsoil, teaching me not to fear other name brand synthetics.
This has saved me a LOT of money as a fleet owner!
Plus, I have been briefed by the mighty Jim Allen himself of the wonders of trans filtration, something I knew little about. I expect this info to be equally valuable!

The biggest thing BITOG has done is get me past the oil-related marketing that I've been bombarded with.
Showed me that 3,000 miles is really more of a guesstimate than I thought and that the differences between oil brands are really not all that much.
Showed me the truth about FRAM that whatever I believe about the Orange Can should not apply to the rest of the lineup. Also introduced me to Purolator and now I go out of my way for it.
The rebates and sales section has saved me hundreds and helped me try other brands for cheap making it easier to have a variety of oils to experience.
