I think it's going to be that SuperTech 'Petro Canada Supreme' Synthetic 0w30 that I managed to snag for 1 and 2 bucks a liter. It'll probably be a 0w20 in 1000KMs from fill.

I think I can help Craig. I was *just* in my local Carquest (Ontario like you) and they had a 4L jug of T6 Rotella 5W40, price was $34.95 for the 4L. Is there a Carquest near you?

For the Audi, if all goes well, it will be seeing GC year round. The F-150 4.9L is an open questions. It's not yet broken in and is filled with Castrol 10w-30 and Crane Cams break-in lube.

For winter, I don't know. PYB 5w-30 or something like that? Any suggestions?

Indeed there is! Thanks for the tip! Have you seen it anywhere else? CTC still has Rotella SB 0W40 in dusty jugs on the shelf.

I was in a CTire this morning and they had several large jugs of the T6 Rotella 5W40 for $29.

I'll keep it brief since not on topic. I also spotted it this morning at PartSource, 4L for $29.99. Unfortunately that's probably about the same price as GC on sale - I'll have to watch for T6 sales.

Walmarts in Regina did a price rollback on GC to under $7 a litre now (of course a couple months after I bought a bunch). So, that may be my winter option.

The Canadian Tire here doesn't seem to stock Rotella T6, but they have T5 on the shelves.

I'm happily running Delvac 1300 15w-40 during the Aridzona summer. By November I'll be up to 5~6K on the oil, and the temps will be dropping. I'll start keeping an eye out for GC or similar (0/5/10W-30) Syn on sale.

I may be taking a road trip to Utah in mid~late October; if I do, I'll dump the syrup before leaving.
