Installed a 55 gallon fuel tank (Titan) in my own truck. Also replaced fuel level sensor with updated part. Got tired of 23-25 usable gallons on a supposed 34 gallon tank, especially when towing. There is a TSB for early build trucks (which mine is) , the fix is to replace the tank and level sensor. But I opted for the big guy. Should boost my cruise range to about 900-1000 miles unloaded.

Found this in my non-profit's '02 CTD air box. I'd guess 60% of the space under the filter was packed solid

Also replacing the starter at 310k miles. Despite being a VIN C it needs the starter listed for a VIN 6

Yesterday changed the coolant in my fiancé's 2007 Mustang GT. Used the Uview 550000 Airlift cooling system refiller. That thing is awesome. Makes changing coolant very easy and fast.

Yesterday afternoon
2012 Nissan Altima replaced front brake rotors and pads, rotated tires, replaced air filter, changed oil

2016 GMC Terrain Ecotec got a BG EPR/MOA service for excessive oil consumption, replaced air filter, replaced intake camshaft position actuator

This morning I replaced a battery and terminals on a 2003 Ford explorer and replaced the water pump belt, tensioner and camshaft mounted drive pulley on a 2006 Cadillac DTS Northstar

I have this particular hitch pin I always wind up trying to use on my JL. The leg is long enough I can't rotate the body enough to install the keeper pin.

Finally today I cross-drilled at 90:

It's amazing how a small hole suddenly makes your life so much easier:

Yesterday afternoon
2010 Chevrolet Express 1500
Rotated tires, inspected brakes, changed oil
1993 Chevrolet suburban pulled out a Vortec 350 that had been running a 4 bbl carb intake with an adapter for TBI. This will probably end up being a 383 with a 4 barrel carburetor and a Ramjet 350 hyd roller cam.

This morning
2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Replaced front sway bar links, replaced right front wheel hub, rotated tires, changed oil.

Spent two days cleaning out the garage gave it a full reorganize . Loaded up the Traverse with a bunch of stuff I haven't used in years made a run to the dump. Hung a few new shelves also hung up a pair of speakers hooked up to the receiver in the garage that runs the backyard speakers. Put new rear wheels on the mower that finally gave out. Sprayed the lawn with iron get that Kentucky blue dark green makes my guy neighbors suicidal I'm crushing them once again in the lawn war 😂

Finally finished repairing and wrapping the cheap '90s GM plastic that passes for a dash on my Firebird

And technically I did this last week but I restored the cracked tail lights (and replaced the lenses with ones containing the Firebird logo, which I think should have been there from the factory...) and faded center filler panel as well.

Supported our church’s oil change ministry today. Idk how many cars we changed oil on, had 8 stations in the parking lot. I have a different station for headlight help. Had 7 cars today all yellowed and fogged out. Took the top plastic off with an orbital sander, smoothed it out with XXX fine steel wool, taped, and sprayed with U-Pol clear. Learned the technique and materials here on bitog, and have used it … so many times by now. I was thinking about that earlier today - how some guy with a single post on a forum ended up helping so many others. Pretty cool.

My Wife's 2014 VW Passat Wolfsbug edition. I pulled the transmission pan and replaced the filter and refilled with fresh fluid. VW makes this as tedious and difficult as possible. Figuring out the correct filter was the most frustrating part. Anyone with the same car: it is the filter made of black plastic, not the shiny ,metal one.
