The Ranger came by. Pulled codes - P0302, P1000, P1151, P1152. I have a feeling the misfire on #2 is probably setting off the P1151 but the P1152 tells me there’s a bum O2. I’m hesitating going parts cannon but I’ll get a new O2 after checking the connector.
OOOOHH!!! I am so mad at myself right now! I managed to screw up the seal surface on a Jeep axle to the point where it is not fixable. I got careless with the angle grinder removing the bearing race and now I get to buy a new axle. GRRR!!!
Picked up some fluids. I already changed front differential fluid in the Trailblazer a week or two ago. Got everything I need to do the rear differential, transmission, and transfer case while I was out and about this weekend. Just waiting on another nice day that I'm not too busy to get it done.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on new FPRS on the Taurus. That way, I can monitor for change and see where we are at on the situation. (Made the thread about the situation this morning.)
Mom says the car sputtered again recently and I agree.. especially around where I live? That can be a dangerous situation. People have accidents "frequently" and driving skill is questionable.
So. Leaning towards seeing if new part leads to change. Will re-read comment on the clue is that "LTFTs rise for no apparent reason" .. points to FPRS.

Need to put a new harness on a trailer for my non-profit. The existing one has always been too short and finally someone munched the 7-way plug, so now's the time.
The older I get the more I want to work smarter not harder. I hung it off my lift. Still can't walk under it but I can easily roll under it on my rolling stool

I had to write the death certificate today on a 2003 Camry
Old friend of my dad's, said he overheated on the Belt Parkway, blew a hose, some hoses were changed
Now it's stalling, smells, white smoke
The sweet smelling exhaust (that was spraying coolant), and the bubbles don't lie, she got hot
2AZs don't like being overheated, I doubt the head bolt threads are still intact
Scanner revealed misfire codes, but that wouldn't surprise me, after getting meltdown hot and burning coolant

I rotated tires
on my Escape. And inspected the brakes which are at 3/32 so time to do them. 2/32 fails state inspection. I will probably do them this weekend. I was going to do them today but couldn’t find the brake pads anywhere haha. I got them about a year ago and have misplaced them. I know where the rotors are though. It’s good I took the wheels off though. The side my BIL did had one of the bolts sticking half out of the caliper. I applied more blue loctite and tightened it down. Not blaming my BIL as I should have checked him over but good thing I checked when I did.Was going to strip the Zepp off but decided to hold off till I have more time between trips and warmer. Slapped a couple layers of Zepp on the hardest hit sides for now, front and passenger side. Looks presentable again. I'm pooped just with that. Want to redo the front end, great Chevy white paint, but not sure what to do. Maybe just swap a 202x front end parts on it.
No pictures this weekend but we’ve been busy. Got the last of my big fencing project finished up with the last two barb wires and the water gap panels tied in. Also got one of the gates welded up. Tried to start my old Blue Bird bus that I’ve been using for storage but the transfer pump seems to have failed. Ended up towing it across the farm to make way for a sorting pen expansion(cattle). Ironically it’s the same bus I first rode to kindergarten on, right now it’s storing a few hundred shop manuals I got from my old Vo-tech when they cleaned house. They’ll be going in my office when the shop is built. Got another week of long days starting tomorrow on the dump truck as long as the gravel roads stay dry enough.
Confirmed my dead injector diagnosis on the Ranger. Else, gassed up the Prius, got a few beers and a pizza at Costco.

2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
R&I intake manifold for oil pressure sensor and screen replacement. Normally I do this without pulling the manifold but the customer wanted new intake gaskets installed
