Looked at a 11’ Cobalt for the gf’s friend. Overpriced but anything used vehicle is now. Then helped friend Colton on farm for bit. Free eggs as payment always a PLUS

That's probably why he's in his mid 20's and acting like he's 16. Maybe his attitude will change when he's made to pay for things himself.

Well this was yesterday. 2019 F250 is leaking on inside and had molded so had to pull up the flooring and send it to be professionally cleaned. It’s a customer vehicle they are paying for it. I didn’t do that by myself I mainly watched but still helped some just I was working on other stuff while this was going on lol. What I was doing was fun not this lol. Interior work is boring to me. Also done four sets of brakes on various Subaru. I ordered that special Subaru brake tool from Snap-on it will make brake jobs much easier and I plan on ordering that brake file too that everyone keeps posting here. By the end of the first one I was covered in anti seize because someone went crazy with it last time lol but that didn’t bother me. At work we ran out of anti seize and brake lube cans so I had to borrow some. I’ll probably pick some up this weekend and see if they will pay me back for it. They said they can’t get cases of it at this time because it’s on back order from our supplier.

The charging light on my 1993 Tercel came on last week. It's at 363,017km - it has been a great vehicle, cheap to run, cheap and easy to fix. However, I don't seem to have the time or desire to work on it much nowadays, due to having a young kid and being busy at work.
In this case, a quick bit of testing showed it was the alternator. I took it into a local auto electric place and had them rebuild it. They turned it around in about half a day and the pricing was less than half of what a cheap reman would have cost from Rockauto. It looks absolutely brand new. This place has been around forever and uses quality parts. I really prefer to take this approach where I can and where time allows it instead of buying cheap junk from China, which I'm more and more finding just doesn't last.
So, the Tercel is back on the road until next time...

The PS pump on the Accord has been making a little racket lately that I've noticed. I replaced the two o-rings since that is usually the culprit, to no avail. I decided to take a chance on a $60 PS pump off Amazon. I would normally plan to tear the old one down and rebuild it, but I just don't have the time to do it these days, and I'm not spending $400 for an OEM pump. I did keep the old one to tear down and check it to see if it warrants being rebuilt as my TL uses the exact same pump and who knows when it will need one. At almost 270,000 miles, that pump doesn't owe me a thing. Also pulled the PS resivoire off and cleaned it out. Ran the fluid through a white cloth and didn't see any metal, so I'm not too concerned that it was starting to grenade on me.
Refill was Lubegard Honda/Acura PSF. Started up and works just fine. Time will tell on longevity. We're not getting rid of that car unless it completly blows up or the car market gains some sanity.

Finished up the Scion, Removed the cheap "cold air intake" & threw it away. The "yard" I bought the engine from threw in a stock air cleaner housing & tube per my request (Thanks Late Model Auto Salvage-Ft. Worth).

Installed a Draw-Tite hitch on the Prius. And then found a Kuat bike rack. Works like a treat.
Finally got the fuel line retaining clips installed on my Trailblazer. Used the Dorman 800-023 parts. The black, 3/8" clip was the ticket. She runs like a top again. Oh and of course it was great day to so it. -8c with no sun and -17 windchill.
Cline I couldn’t help but notice the shop press in the back ground. Looks new and it looks like big tonnage. Did you save room for a lathe lol.Replacing the 2AR-FE in a 2014 Scion TC, 111,000 HARD miles, Head gasket blown between #2 & #3 along with signs of excessive oil consumption. Located a low mileage 2AR-FE out of a 2014 Rav4.

I'm going through the engine wiring for my Camaro. I'll be deleting ~80% of the relays and fuses in the fuse panel as they pertain to parts that are no longer on the car such as horn, AC, heat, air pump, high beams, fog lights, radiator fans, etc... I'll also be removing the corresponding wiring for these parts. The engine harness weighs in at 32.9 lbs. I'm hoping to get that knocked down to <10 lbs.
I have been running that pump on our 2006 TSX for 3 years. I have the original, as there is a local rebuilder in San Jose.
Had to move the 4-4-2 out of the condo garage so workers could work and store materials and tools. Redoing the master bath.
The 2 speed Junk-Away leaks fluid but pulled the car after a quart of ATF.
The choke would not open all the way, making it run pig rich. Adjusted the choke and reset the idle mixture screws to highest vacuum.
I had messed up the "timing by ear" so I whipped out the timing light and set her to 7* BTDC.
Exhaust is nice and clean now. Mosquitoes will live another day.
Needs a transmission, but this car is soooo original. Sheesh.

Yea, I ordered a new bearing for it last night, and I already have the seal kit, apparently its the same kit the 2000 I4 Accord used, it'll get rebuilt/refreshed at some point, just have to find the time....which will probably be about 5 min after the TL's pump starts getting grumpy.
