Burned another vacation day and decided to paint my shed. Paint starting to peel off on side exposed to the most sun at the end of the day. With my huge Maple trees out back, shed really does not see much sunshine till the later hours of the day.

Got the bearings in my dads car. The fourth set finally are going normally when I pressed the others out they had fallen apart they were kinda cheap so I am glad I got better ones put in.

Installing JCV Double Din radio in my grand-niece's 2013 Civic. Android Auto / Apple Car Play, back up camera, steering wheel controls.
Tati is 20 and in the Marine Corps, stationed at Fort Pendleton, San Diego and currently deployed to Kuwait.
I don't think I have broken anything, yet...

That sounds like an adventure lol 😂

Working on my dads car today. Doing CV Axles, Sway Bar End Links, Inner and Outer Tie Rods before the rain hits. Also helped the neighbors mowed one of their lawns then the other raked leaves for again.

I got an assignment from my niece: when we looked over her 05 VW Beetle Turbo the other day, she noticed the front left axle boot was split open and lost the grease. I checked the joint and it was loaded with gritty sand mixed in the remaining grease, so she ordered in a replacement axle. I’ll be pulling that and slipping in a new one Saturday (if the weather cooperates).

Otherwise, rear pads, rotors, and ABS sensors for the 2004 Jaguar X-type are due. All parts for that job are here waiting to go on the car... 🙂

warranty claim on a hyundai gdi that ran out of oil. Needed to strip and document all damage, if the claim gets approved I will get a complete engine in pieces and need to assemble it. so order a crank and block then order bearings matching the crank class, headgasket etc...
