We often hear stripped down full size 2wd pickups are hard to come by..I saw two 2022 used Chevrolet regular cab full size pick ups for sale at the Chandler Arizona chevrolet dealer. I could not determine the mileage, but I suspect very low mileage.

Looks.like retail used is 38k, and if my interpretation is correct, these used trucks have a mandatory dealer option package raises the price to 42k. Of course, one may be able to negotiate the price, I have no idea. But late summer in Phoenix might be the time to get a deal.

Good guess by me. Is this a classic case of online and dealer price being different? Offer $29k and see what they say.
Amazed the online price is 13k less the the lot price. I wonder if the dealer were actually sign a contract online for 29k?

For reference, I bought my 2007 f350 regular cab 2wd xlt new at Vernon Texas Ford for $25k. I think sticker was $29k. That was 2007.

there are actually a lot of these all over the country on Car Fax, Seem to be rental trucks. mid 30's seems to be the average....

They're out of the UHaul fleet. On the Carfax, it is a one owner low mileage rental out of Phoenix... that is what gives it away.

UHaul's HQ is in Phoenix, all vehicles are AZ plated.

Well it's a darn good thing they added that "protection package" to a used U-Haul...LOL

$1,399 for tint! That's almost $470 a window!

Here's what they sell for in the Midwest, with GM CPO certification (and without the add-ons), at one of my favorite dealers... $30,455.

They also have a 2022 Dodge Ram Classic, that was also in the UHaul fleet, for $3500 less (it has a V6, instead of a V8 in the Chevy)

The window sticker for the Ram when it was new, lists as "UHaul Appearance Group" as an option, LOL.

.
Maybe they are discounting the Mehico made trucks ?? I didn't know all these Chevy Trucks were made in Mexico.. I just checked the Fords and those are still USA.

You can tell the design of the regular cab is an afterthought - that B-pillar/door frame area is hideous.

Wow. And to think I paid $15k for a brand new 2000 Silverado 4.8 L of the same ilk. Incentives, rebates, all kinds of good stuff. Put 300k miles on it if ya need it.

That was 23 years ago......they have gone up $15,000.00 in the last three years.

And Chapman is one of the better Phx mega-dealers IMO. Bought a used truck from one of their dealers in 2007 and another in 2016.

I won't buy from Chapman again, they're terrible. Autonation and Earnhardt I've had the best luck with. Bill Luke is hands down the worst.
