What $1.2m gets you in apple valley,Ca

The "living" room looks like the foyer in a three-star hotel. Whole place needs some color, whoever "staged" it went bland and inoffensive. Look at the paintings in the bathroom. Layout of the garage is weird with the different rooflines and why bother having a ceiling out there? Just leave the eaves open. Interesting they plant a flag in a rock cairn. The laundry room door (maybe it's a closet) is going to rip off the washer/dryer door if either is left open.

I guess it's not too bad, considering it's CA. I'm not a fan of the design, it looks like a huge garage with an accidental house attached. And because I can't help but make an apples to oranges comparison, $1.2M will buy a huge house in a gated community on the Tennessee River here in North AL.

Overall not the worst, landscape maintenance will surely be inexpensive.

The kitchen ceiling really bothers me. They should have recessed it or something, it just looks like an afterthought.

Also, I hate how the house is on a paved road and has a paved driveway but you have to enter from a dirt side road.

^ The greenhouse pool is kinda neat, as well as having grass. But the neighborhood's full of the things! Wild! Looks like we colonized Mars or something, LOL.

Here’s a similarly priced home near us.

No state income tax. 15 minutes from Disney. 20 from the airport.

Not exactly in the middle of nowhere.

But can you line up your fleet of trailers and trucks on the property? Or change the transmission on the driveway? Or keep chickens? I'll bet not. 😁

Gosh, Washington has ruined me. House behind me sold for 1.02 million 2 years ago and it not as big or as nice as this one. The one listed also has an extra acre.
