All car makes are male gender in German:

Der BMW
Der VW
Der Opel
Der Mercedes
Der Porsche
Der GM
Der Peugeot
Der Citroën
Der Fiat
Der Ferrari
Der Lamborghini
Der Astin Martin
Der Land Rover
Der Austin
Der Skoda
Der Ford
Der Volvo
Der Saab
Der Toyota
Der Honda
etc...

Car model names can be female, male or neutral, depending on the gender of the noun.

That's right, every German noun has a gender.

Ben, why's your 2CV's grille yellow and and the bumper orange?

That Bond Bug in the background is kinda cute, too.

When the "Duck" was designed, a few requirements had to be met: the suspension had to be able to carry a basket with raw eggs across a ploughed field without breaking any eggs, the car had to be able to carry four people or two people (with their hats on) plus 100 kg farm goods, and it had to get 90 mpg. The 2CV was not a bad or unreliable car. Slow? 0-60 in ca 1 minute. Still, generations of students got to class in one on time.

Here are our 2 outfits.

I posted the truck before, but here it is again,

Pert near as long as the humble shanty, the Chevy pick-em-up with the utilitarian cover over the bed may be the Mighty Obbop's retirement home.

Gonna revive this thread.

This was DD until I bought the Civic in 2004. Then it went into semi-retirement and driven usually once a week or in snowstorms
