A great story.

I once worked in San Bernardino. One day at a gas station this long-haired, middle aged, ex-hippie guy drove up to the gas pump, in this old Nova with no paint, just primer, a jacked up-rear and NO exhaust system. The noise was incredible.

I said to the gas station attendant: "I bet he gets a lot of tickets for no muffler."

His response: "If I had a rad car like that, I would not care how many tickets I get."

One wonders where those bozos are now...
