Had a 3.8 earthquake in WNY at 6:15am today. The epicenter was located about 1.3 miles north east of West Seneca, NY.

I've been looking and curious on a map showing fault lines. Can't find much but I'm probably not looking right. Anyone have any they can share.

Felt the house shake but nothing broken or that violent. Felt like a large close thunder. I am about 25 miles from the eipcenter.

Yes I was in Clifton, Va that day in a very old house. It was rocking and rollin and we ran out as fast as we could.
I was driving at the time and the only thing I noticed were herds of cattle going absolutely crazy in their fields and an abnormal number of people outside in front of their houses. It was pretty surreal.

My tax guy lives in OP off Southwestern, he texted our group about it right away. The epicenter was about 1500 feet away from the street off Indian Church where my mom grew up.

This hopefully will not change your OCI or what oil you are using?

Well - a scumbag cruised by at 3am and rattled the glass with 3.8 from his subs … Been awake since then …

My daughters were about a week old and we were getting ready for their first doctors appointment.

They suddenly lost their mind after being happy and content, then we felt the quake in Harford County, Maryland.

I better contact Mobil and Valvoline and see what magnitude levels the API SN+ or SP Mobil 1 Extended Performance or Valvoline Daily Protection are rated for.
I think the only oil that can handle this situation is Redline Oil or HPL oil. LOL

Glad you are OK, and I will be sending you a Balloon your way, do you have a color preference? This may be a problem, since I am Color Blind!

If the earth used amsoil, the fault lines would slide without any commotion!

I barely noticed it. My mother said she got up to check things after everything rattled in her room. The only damage was an old chimney collapsed onto a parked car. But we're not hardened for earthquakes here and the Fault line is no joke, but largely inactive...

Apparently the faults in the Northeast are buried deeply and ancient covered by erosion and are difficult to track but exist. There was also a massive mudslide about 20,000 years ago that is "frozen" and has caused issues in the Southern Tier and parts are very hard to compact properly for certain road and vertical construction projects.....
