WD40 - Really have that many automotive uses?

I actually don't have any lying around right now. For removing adhesive and old oil from stuff, plain rubbing alcohol seems to work just fine.
 
WD40 and xxxx steel wool will take burned on rubber heel marks or burned on oil or road tar off of chrome motorcycle exhaust pipes without damaging the chrome and with very little effort as long as the pipes are hot when you do this. So that by itself wins it a place in the "Lube Hall of Fame"
