I've waxed it a time or two since its been in my hands for about a year, but it feels rough when I glide my hand across it.

On my car, it finally 'popped' and looked amazing after this time I waxed it. I dont know if its the fact that I used new microfibers, swirled it in better or just the fact that after waxing it every 2-3 months it finally got some 'build up' on it and it looked amazing.

I want this for my bicycle. It is clearcoated.

Every time I wax this bike I'm never able to see any haze. So what I want to do it apply some wax, wait 15 minutes, apply again then wait and apply a third time them wait and buff away.

Is it ok to do this or should I buff it after every application?

Be careful. Mom says that can make you go blind....

The finish on the bike is probably 10x rougher than what's on your car. I suppose you could clay bar the bike and get all the surface contaminants off. Still, though, it's certainly not an automotive-grade finish, and you may never be able to get the same results as you can get on your car.

All joking aside...the quality of the paint on a typical bicycle doesn't come close to that found on a typical car. If you *really* want a mirror finish, why not have the frame professionally painted (or do it yourself with better quality materials)? I have a buddy with an older Harley and we did just that. It was like night and day. We used Dupont imron paint and shot it ourselves in a make-shift "booth" in his garage. The finish looked like you could dip your hand into it and imron is a very tough finish...which you need on a bike/motorcycle.

Good luck!
