MY paint looks great but they must have put something in the water lately cause I washed it off the other day and it spotted the car badly. I dried it off immediately like always but it left bad spots.

I waxed and polished the other weekend and it still didnt get it out

so what do I need to do?

I have Klasse wax/polish on the car now. DO I need to remove the wax and polish and start new?

I didnt think I had to remove the Klasse to get the spots out but maybe I do?

help, may need to sue city for messing up my paint

You need to know for sure if the spot are deposits (on the surface) or etchings (below the surface). Use a magnifying glass or similar if you're not sure.

If its hard water deposits, many times vinegar will remove them. The acidity breaks the bond between the deposits and your car's paint. Since the vinegar will remove most if not all your wax and sealant, you'll need to redo the car.

Work on a small test area and try a few things (vinegar, polish, anything else you want to try) and see how it goes.

well all I know at the moment is that the car was already done with Klasse, I rinsed it off to get the dust off and when I went to dry it off it had spots all over where the water was. the water made the spots at that moment.

was very suprised to see that on the recently Klassed car

after that I polished it again and put a sealant and the wax on it.

didnt get out the spots

what would be a good cleaner that will come off easily?

Wash a car and dry in shade only. Make sure the surface is cool.

Did you use Klasse All in One or SG? The spots will eventually go away if you wash and dry properly.

I might not have dried it properly but I wash and dry about 40 cars a week. Some of the cars 2 or 3 times a week. None of them get spotted regardless of if I am in the sun or shade. I just happened to wash mine that day.

I am just trying to get the spots out now. I have washed the car weekly and never had this problem.

I think the city put something in the water that the KLASSE AIO didnt like

Hi,
The absolute best thing I've found to avoid getting water spots is using Eagle One Wax-as-You-Dry when drying off the vehicle. I now use it every time I wash the cars. Give it a shot...

Use white vinegar to wipe down remaining water spots and follow with at least a quick detailer. Wax is better. Seems to work well if they are not etched into the paint.
