They better have included the building a couple of nuclear power plants in their 10 year plan so they have enough capacity to charge all of the EVs. They can't install enough wind turbines to offset the increased nighttime power demand. And this also goes for all of the other states considering doing this.

Don't need cars we will just be staying home, getting high on legalized drugs , getting our guaranteed income and food delivered to the house if we become hungry.

That seems to be the direction we are headed.

No chance. In fact they want to get rid of the hydro power too.

It appears to me that Washington State has some real issues needing attention.........good grief.

Where do they think that electricity comes from? I guess that they want to go back to the way that they lived in the 1800s.

That would be the result. Not only would they lose the hydro power and flood control but they would lose all the agriculture that Eastern Washington has built up since the dams went in as they also include irrigation. That half of the state was wasteland not so long ago.

I would expect a lot of late model used cars going to WA and CA because of this....
Either that or a lot of essentially new cars but technically used cars to be sold for new car prices in CA and WA.
The fact is they are trying to force everyone into the cities and onto mass transit. Talking about that what the average time for and oil change on a Transit bus?

Just outlawing the sale of new gas vehicles probably wouldn't have any significant effect on me. I've got enough old clunkers sitting around and two with less than 50K miles on them that would likely last me the rest of my life as long as parts are readily available and gas didn't get too expensive. I don't think there's enough charging facilities anywhere in the US to supply a whole state's worth of cars charging capacity. The whole idea makes about as much sense as this video. Another of our country's greatest minds at work.

Well, it all depends on what the ban of the ban is, is …
