Walmart is locking up underwear now

Uh.....well yes .......😃
This is a picture of the day I confronted Chimmie about the underwear... as you see he was scared at the time... it hasn't happened since...

We have one Walmart in this area that’s like that the rest are all good. The one Walmart has underwear and packaged shirts locked up, deodorant locked up, razors locked up, Legos locked up, certain tools locked up, medicines locked up, cleaning supplies locked up, DVDs locked up. Pretty much anything lol but it’s also in a very bad part of town too with lots of crime the rest are all in safe areas.

The WM by me aren't too bad last I looked for items like that.

I was at BJ's in CT, I think Fairfield and they didn't even hand scanners at the self checkout. Multiple workers to help out at least. The one I asked said people always don't scan multiple items so now you have to scan and put on the tray at end that also checks weight. She said when they had them people were stealing the handheld scanners also.

I guess I'm lucky.... The closest Walmart to me must be a nice one with minimal theft issues. Other than some electronics, car stereo, and razor blades, nothing else seems to be locked up.
What’s interesting in my case is they built sister stores 12 miles apart - about a decade back …
Our store went for years without all the ding-ding - flash etc surveillance …
It all went in about 2 years ago.
12 miles away - that stuff was going in by year two.
We share a newspaper - and the crime stats match.
(that other town clearly has more crime) …

The state of stores nowadays is really sad. I was in Vegas and forgot to back my deodorant. Went to a nearby Walmart while getting essentials and pretty much everything was locked up. Had to flag down a worker and she had to open up each glass area to give me what I needed. I couldn’t even sniff the deodorants to see which ones smelled decent.

CVS has everything locked up except sunscreen…weird

I ordered some Sta-Bil pressure washer pump cleaner from ebay, and today someone from Walmart delivered the package. The driver had the windows down, and was LOUDLY blasting rap music as they delivered. It was pretty disconcerting. I had no idea what was going on, because the seller wasn't Walmart. Anyway, it seems that some of the Walmart workers are just as bad as their customers.
Someone got triangulation frauded. Incidentally, was the ebay location somewhere bizarre like Sri Lanka?

Basically a credit card gets compromised, a new eBay account offers something from Walmart at 25% off, an innocent buyer buys it, Walmart delivers, then the card gets shut down.

Walmart contracts their delivery to third parties like instacart and GearHeadTool.

Similar to my local Walmart , razors/shaving are not locked up but electric tooth brushes are, along with cologne and like someone else mention, the lubes and those types of products. Legos and some flashlights/riffle scopes, and I would say half of the electronics dept is now locked up. Just a few years ago the only thing that was locked up was the ammo.

Seller has 99.2% positive rating, with 14k feedbacks. Located in the USA, and selling on eBay since 2017.

I think they simply relay orders received to companies like Walmart for fulfillment. Their price was low, though, so don't know how they manage that.

Btw: once the under wear was out of the case the employee took it to the register for me lol

It’s very unfortunate that people are stealing EVERYTHING at retail stores.

About 5 years ago I went to Walmart to buy a vacuum cleaner. All the boxes had been opened and people stole the various nozzle attachments.

Now I shop at Amazon for EVERYTHING.
Publix for fresh food and produce.

I was in Seattle last summer in a decent area. Needed to get some shirts and socks at Walmart. Same deal, entire aisle locked up, no employees to be found to unlock it. Walked out.
