Wal-Martian needs a different mechanic

Was reading filter reviews on the WM site and had to share this one. Apparently the Fram Ultras are so efficient that they will filter down to the size of an oil molecule

All four must work at Jiffy Lube.


"After we tried to get our mechanic to use this filter we talked with three different mechanics and they all said the same thing. This filter is so well made that the screening does not allow enough oil to filter through and thus it is an ineffective filter. It has too much filtering and it will not clean the oil! We took it back to Walmart."

I found his zippo lighter review:

"We took this lighter to our smoke shop. Talked to three different pot heads, and they all agreed that the zippo lighter made fire. Since this lighter makes fire, we took it back to Wal-Mart."

Some people are just so stupid.

My poor Camry, I'm just starving it of oil, I've only used Fram Ultras on it.

Maybe I should install one of those high-flow Purolator Classics? You know, the ones with the holes in them.

Sounds like they bought the Ultra filters at Walmart, then took it to their mechanics, not Walmart mechanics. I wonder who these brainiac mechanics were?

"My mechanic always cuts some of the extra paper filter media out of my oil filters so I can have better oil flow and not starve my engine for oil."

Another option is to drill some holes in the bypass valve
