Please elaborate, how did he make a mistake?
I've been watching a lot of these videos now that I got a new to me truck and had no filters. Life was easy when I found a good stash of filters to use and stocked up back when.
I've always like wix but I choose premium guard filters. I ordered my first carquest premium oil filters recently.

I have bought and used a couple of the Microguard filters, they really do seem to be a well made solid piece with good materials and workmanship. At that price for me it is a no brainer.

New XP version has been changed to competitive “efficiency.” Was mentioned in another thread. I would get that one especially if made in USA.

Based upon your comment, I asked him in the video comments if the Wix was really cellulose. He referred me to the Wix website. It looks like he had his facts correct. According to Wix, filter media in the WL10255 is enhanced cellulose.

i looked it up before I posted I said he made some mistakes, but no big deal until people decided to make it one. The other was msl is synthetic. I interpreted what I looked up, before I posted, enhanced is no longer pure cellulose but a blend, or they would say cellulose. It also could be some other enhancement but usually they mix some synthetic in. I said I think both are synthetic blend, which is my idea, not as a proven fact. That’s why people say I think it is rather than the definite it is. I still think the same as at first. Likely both blends in my view.
I don’t know why someone would contact him about such a nothing, but it’s a free country. it’s ok to make minor mistakes like I said in my post. Not a criticism at all, I’m a fan of his work and unlike some people, value his very creative ideas. Look at it every Friday morning with coffee.
