VW Valve cover sealant ??

I have a Volkswagen with the AAZ turbodiesel. This engine has a valve cover held on bt 3 nots, and is notoriously hard to seal. Does anyone have a good sealant to use on the rubber gasket on this cover??

Ford Grey, AKA Motorcraft TA-31.

Wurth or Victor Reinz sealant if you can find them over there.

i usually use some 3m spray glue to hold vcgs on. as far as gasket maker permatex 1 minute gasket is my favorite.

Agreed.

Two very good products, Wurth is available fairly easily in the US.
