I'd have to see the writing on the bottle with my own eyes before I'd believe it. The web site says only "Recommended for Applications Requiring the Following Specifications:" and then lists the OEM specs.quote:

And I'm quite sure that Amsoil does its own testing. I'm also quite sure that's completely irrelevant to passing the OEM tests that other oil must pass in order to carry the OEM ratings.
