My '96 A4 quattro (2.8 V6 12v) has now 170k miles on it. It has been pretty much trouble-free since I caught up with repairing what the dealer failed to fix or maintain. I also hope to keep driving my A4 for another 170k miles!
As far as AoA and their dealer network goes, they are just as [censored] as VoA and their network. They only want to sell new cars and service them to death by the time the warranty is up. Then they want to sell you a new car with the intent of killing it. Seriously!
