I know tractor fluid VOA's are boring, but I was curious and wanted to contribute data to the forum. I usually pick this up at $40 for 5 gallons.

Thank you. Starfire is a supplier in Ohio that gets it's products from a blender in Pennsylvania (PennStar).

I'm going to ask our resident tribologist @MolaKule what his opinion is of these smaller blenders. How does one judge product quality vs. the major names that spend more on marketing? HP lubricants is a popular small blender at BITOG, so our group is not against using them.

They do fully document their products as any Blender should do.

I am not familiar with their products or product performance; only expensive fleet testing could answer that. I would assume they purchase their base oils and additives from the major suppliers.

I am familiar with High Performance Lubricants (HPL), and with their product line and product performance, so you can't go wrong with them.

Thats quite a robust calcium level , A little to high for my liking considering the effects it has on the performance of the phosphorus and zink aw properties. It would be good for flushing a dirty system.
