VOA on STP??

I was curious as to how much ZDDP STP oil treatment has, and what else is actually in it.

I know it gets a bad rap on these pages, but I'm still wondering--what with the lowered ZDDP levels in oils these days--if it couldn't be of some benefit in certain sitiuations.

I checked the archives here and cannot find anything in the VOA or even used oil analysis where STP was used.

If ZDDP damages convertors why would you use it? Even if it was a great anti-wear additive????

You're better offf with the Valvoline Supplements or Schaeffer's #132.

Almost every oil has Zn and P. Unless your car is a heavy oil burner, I doubt that there will be any problems.

Until a VOA is posted, what you're better with is unknown.
