Looks really good. Only change I see from two prior VOA's that were done about 3-5 years ago (still SP) is a slightly lower virgin oxidation value. Used to range from 56-62 but it seems now it's more like 47-50.

like the moly and boron, along with apparent ester base added. useful zinc phosphorus amount, it is a well-built clean oil. wonder if it has any GTL base oil mixed in?

This means they drop PAO/POE percentage to previous formulations ?

Or possibly used a better base oil that doesn't show up that high on oxidation value.

Hello everyone, I have a 2018 VW Golf MK7.5 1.4TSI (CZDA) and i am from Cyprus. In the summer i switched from Castrol 5w30LL to Amsoil EU 5W40 FS. I saw a drastic change to the time that takes the oil to cool down, lower highway temps also the engine is quiter and running great. I wanted to try the Amsoil SS 0w40 due to the SP rating and the Better LSPI protection because my engine is a TGDI engine but the oil is not VW certified. Anyone else tired it to give some feedback? Thanks.

If you're out of warranty, yes. I read a while back how many WRC teams really liked Amsoil SS.
