I'm in the process of putting my new computer together. I'm trying to decide on which video card to buy for around $200. I was thinking of getting the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Any recommendations? Thanks.

My computer specs are below.

Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3
Intel i5 2500k
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus cpu cooler
Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1600 8gb (2 x 4gb)
Corsair Enthusiast TX V2 650 watt modular power supply
OCZ Agility 3 solid state drive 60gb

Hard drives prices gone up recently so I'm using my old hard drive to store stuff for now.

I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore gamer but I play first person shooters and simulators. Want to be able to run the current and upcoming fps like BF3, Crysis 2, MW3 with good enough framerates. I generally don't run max settings. Other than that I do some video and photo editing which seem to be more cpu dependent.

I would spend the extra $20 and get the extra gig on ddr5 on that 6950, it will really help with multiple monitor setups.

The 6950 2gb runs BF3 on ultra at 50 fps on my 22inch monitor.

I think your 560 Ti consideration is perfect. The 6950, as mentioned, is also a good choice.

From the Tom's article that was posted about BF3: The 560 Ti and 6950 are neck and neck at 1920x1080 on high settings, but Tom's admitted that the Radeon cards have bigger issues with AA than the Nvidia cards. While all single cards stagger under heavy AA loads, the Radeon cards slip a bit more than Nvidia.

While some may not declare their allegiance so openly, I'll will admit I'm biased to Nvidia and, more specifically, to EVGA cards.
