That Mitsu 2.6 had bad timing-chain issues.Had a bunch of K,(Aries) L,(Omni, Horizon, Charger, Turismo, Scamp), E (New Yorker, 600, Caravelle) H(Lancer, Lebaron), and G(Daytona/Laser) body cars. (I am missing some and I had all this useless knowledge saved up in my brain. Now it has been released)
This is a Lebaron in the states. New Yorker was 4 door, Carvelle was a 4 door car here, but you could get a 4 door Lebaron too at some point. Could be had with a 2.6 Mitsubishi hemi, 2.2, 2.2 turbo or 2.5 common block. Most had the Holley carb, later they had TBI. I see no Turbo badge or Hemi badge so I am guessing run of the Mill 2.2/carb as the 2.5 came along, as I recall in 1986.

There was way too much going on at Ma Mopar in the 80s early 90s. This one here? Very clean.
I had a lot of fun messing with them. Larger turbos, better heads, boost bleeds, intercoolers. I look monthly for the right one.
The homegrown Mopar engines were way more reliable.
