Vehicle Key Binding

The key for my SUV is binding and it hasn't been cleaned ever. I thew in some MAF cleaning solution and let it dry and then sprayed it with CRC silicone lubricant.

I also changed the key as the old one was quite worn out.

Pl. let me know if I am on the right path or am I looking at a replacement down the lane!!!

Could be the tumblers inside the ignition cylinder are wearing out. Try sprinkling some graphite powder onto the keys.

Clean and lubricate the lock, and get a new blank cut from the key code?

I use a shot of Lock Ease graphited lock lubricant in all my key locks once a year. It's always kept my lock problems to an absolute minimum.
