I wonder how it would work as an upper cylinder lubricant if added to fuel?

I've always been curious how vegetable oils would do when used in engines.

Well go check out UOA of RLI stuff. If I remember right it is like reacted canola oil or something.

That's it, I'm going to try vegetable oil as a UCL.

Actually, I already did after I read this earlier today. Ran fine. I put about 2oz in with 5 gallons of gas that had some Regane in it. Actually seemed to idle really smooth with no loss of power. Next time I'll try it with a full tank.
 
I think so! I'm going to buy a gallon of Wesson and throw it in there at a 10:1 ratio with Gasoline/Oil.

In for a dime, in for a dollar, right?

Except for the sludge buildup in the rings, the mains, and the cams, it should be fine..
