Well, if your a smoker and trying to quit and SICK AND TIRED of paying all these high arshe taxes, it's a better, healthier alternative. Notice I said healthier, not healthy, so let's not get into that debate. The nicotine is a synthetic version much like what "artificial flavoring added" is to just about anything we consume. It's basically water vapor, nicotine flavoring and either PG or VG. Much better taste. Here is the correct website, my bad:

You must be using the cheap stuff and of course, it is now labeled "pipe tobacco." Well, Congress is about to put the kabash on that. There are two bills that will affectively kill all RYO. First, they will tax all pipe tobacco like that of cigarette tobacco. Second, the will eliminate all public transport of all tobacco products period for USPS parcels. It's coming, kid yourself not. Also, you can "vap" way cheaper than 10 bucks a carton anyway. Plus, do you have any ideal just how many different chemicals are in tobacco? I really don't think it's actually the nicotine, but a combination of over 4000 chemicals that are known to be in tobacco. With vaping, you get actual nicotine, and that's it. You still get you nicotine, but not all the other nasty stuff. I guess I'm the only one that is vaping and actually did some homework on this stuff.

I have been vaping for 1 year and 3 months now. Those who said it is stupid do you not know that nicotine is not really that bad for you? It is comparable to caffeine. The part of smoking that is really bad is the tar which contains all the harmful carcinogens and cancer causing agents. Nicotine does not cause cancer period end of story.

Prostreet....spot ON dude!!! I haven't tried dripping yet. But your right, one cartridge isn't even close to one cigarette in terms of actual puffing. I'm using Blucigs and really like them, but to get the throat hit, I'm having to top off the cup a lot more often. Been looking at cart mods and think I'll try the PTB, or something close to that affect. I'm using "menthol" and have tried Halo, Innovapor, Johnson Creek and LiquidExpress. Recently learned where all this stuff comes from, so I dropped Innovapor and LiquidExpress as they are made in China and shippments are iffy, at best. I now use a combination of JC/Halo. Halo has great menthol taste, but not much tobacco taste. JC has killer tobacco taste, but weak on the menthol....I'll find a good combination of the two and then be set.

i demo'd it at a mall and it sucked
the smoke doesnt hit the back of your throat like a real cigarette would

Those mall kiosk are notorious for having junk. I've tried them. It wasn't until reading in the forums that you find out just how bad they are. Get a good ecig and believe me, you won't go back. I've been smoking for over 30 years and have tried everything you can imagine to quit smoking and had just about summized that I couldn't do it nor was there anything out there that would make me want to quit on my own freewill. This includes RYO for the last three years also. Anyway, I got to reading and ordered the blucig kit for just 60 bucks. At first, the company supplied carts really did suck and no real good throat hit, just like you. But tried some different juices and bam, there it was. Dropped analogs like a hot knieve through butter. Never looked back. Even if I have one once in a while, still got 10 pounds of RYO stored at the house, there is really no difference besides that nasty smell. With vaping, no smell and you get your own sense of smell back. I can pick out a smoker 20 feet away.
