Installed today on my sierra and it’s leaking. Just curious if anyone else had any issues and if I’m missing something simple for my install. TIA for any help

Where's it leaking ?
Around the threads, or inner ball seal ?

My method.
1) Clean, clean, clean
2) Read instructions.
3) Tighten to proper torque.

You're probably going to say you did all those things.
I have one on my car and highly recommend them.

Easiest fix would be to tighten slightly more.
Worst case, drain the oil and follow steps 1-3

It’s around the threads. Probably didn’t get it clean enough. Thanks for help

Did you make sure you have the sealing washer on the valve? If so try tightening a little more (not crazy tight so it strips the threads out).

Drained oil so completely clean. Reinstalled/refilled. Used torque wrench to Valvomax’s recommended “snug fit”. (FYI, for those new to Valvomax, gotta take that o-ring off in order to seat the 24mm.). Not as bad now, but still leaking.

I have installed 4 of them, 2 on my vehicles. Last one leaked at the threads. I had cleaned and torqued it. Removed it and put a new aluminum crush washer, OK the 2nd time.

The first washer was provided by Valvomax. 2nd was an aftermarket cheapo one. Maybe the Valvomax provided ones are not as soft as they should be? 😕

Do as the others suggest. Remove, clean, new crush washer, torque to spec.

I have one on the Volvo V70. It works perfectly.
