Valvomax drain system for gasoline Aux tank?

I have sent an inquiry to Valvomax and even called and left a message with no response.
I want to use the valvomax drain on my aux fuel tank as a manual means to obtain fuel if my electric transfer pump fails.
The o ring is stated to be Viton, but I am unsure if the drain plug will hold gasoline because it is so much lighter in viscosity than oil

Compared to gasoline? yes it is.


I would think with viton it should be ok but who knows. you might have to try it yourself to find out.

The gaskets may be oil proof but not gas proof.

Thanks for all the responses.
The o ring is supposed to be viton which should be gasoline resistant.
It will be threaded into the tank with tape and dope sealer
