VALVOLINE VO-88 CUT OPEN

This filter and Valvoline Synthetic 5w30 was in and on a friends 22’ Jeep Wrangler 4WD 4 dr. Done at local Valvoline quick lube near me. OLM was at 6%

Engine is 2.0 turbo also. Installed a FRAM ULTRA and some Mobil 1 5w30

Interestingly, :: just changed my two Vehicles ¥: to my ***TIRE SHOP’S VALVOLINE OIL SYNTHETIC ***program:: 2015 JOURNEY 4 CYL(** was MOPAR CONVENTIONAL 5w-20, PERFORMAX ( generally) Filter @*96,000 miles. ND, 2007 GMC CANYON 4 CYL , was MOB 1 FS NAPA GOLD ( generally) @146,000 miles.!, Actually, used a VALVOLINE OIL SHOP ( Synthetic) in “2008-15”, on the 2007 Canyon…… always interesting VAKVOLINES.. UAED TO BUY RACING oils , Direct in 1970s….etc…((.**ps***: particularly be interesting the 2015 Journey 4 CYL, SWITCHING TO SYNTHETIC VALVOLINE @ 96,000 miles, from CONV 5W—20 MOPAR ( HAVOLINE ), as the Conventional 5 W -20 Oil is thick,@-34 DEG F, on DEC 27,2022, here in HELENA MT)!!! Ideas please ?.

@53' Stude what filter do you use? God knows you cut every filter open known to man

These generally look pretty good although source of manufacturing seems to jump around. Wish we had an efficiency rating. They seem very adequate for the shorter intervals a quick lube joint is going to push for.
