Any experiences with this oil? Also, any opinions on how suitable this would be in my S2000? It currently runs very well on Edge 5w30 and burns no oil.
That is an excellent price in Australia !!
Was it the full-SAPS SynPower 5W40 (API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B3, A4/B4, MB 229.3, GM-LL-B-025, VW 502.00, VW 505.00, RENAULT RN710, RN700),
or the mid-SAPS SynPower MST 5W40 (API SN/CF, ACEA C3, MB 229.31, MB 229.51, BMW LL-04, Renault RN0710, RN0700, Porsche A40, dexos2-gen2) ?
Both are excellent oils, and both would work fine, but you could stretch the full-SAPS OCI a bit longer if you wanted too.
The Valvoline Australia net-lube guide, for the Honda S2000 (2006-2009) says to use either DuraBlend 10W30 or SynPower 5W40, so you should be fine.
Its the full SAPS.Thanks for your input! Gives me some confidence to use it
Got it down to 13.99 with the Valvoline cashback, right? Using exactly this oil in my 2008 Aurion for quite some time, alternating with Castrol Edge 10w30, no issues.
