Is there existing Valvoline 0W-30? Maybe Euro?
I haven't seen any in Walmart though.

Did you notice any shortage of Valvoline Restore and Protect at your local Walmarts?

I just came back from a local store and they only had 0W-20 (5qt jugs) in a corner and 1qt bottle going for about $10.
Here is a picture. You cannot see any Valvoline Restore and Protect jugs because the 0W-20 was hiding on an opposite shelf next to Mobil 1 oils, interesting?!?
I didn't take a picture of the 1qt bottles, but they were plenty.

I find it infinitely more convenient to order off walmart.com. Order two jugs and free shipping, never leave the house. I even subscribe for 15% additional discount then cancel after it arrives (it is within their terms and conditions to cancel the subscription at anytime).

I check sometimes out the 1qt bottle section, but I'm almost sure I haven't seen it there. I'll double check next time.
I still shop oil at the store.

I wish they made this in a 5w40. I prefer to run a thicker oil with my 254k mile Coyote F150.

I'll take a 5W-40 in a diesel spec please!

Definitely GTL to varying degrees, >30% I believe in all 3 current flavors sold in US per SDS; with 0w-20 having the highest GTL for the 0w rating most likely followed by 5w-20 slightly less % range and the 5w-30 had the least amount of GTL.

On this same video that mentions the lab in Mumbai, India that helped with the development of the Valvoline Restore and Protect product, at 1:40 min. LSJ compares older Valvoline Protect formula (which was full of esters) to Valvoline Restore and Protect and shows that there's no esters in Valvoline Restore and Protect.

This my wild guess about Valvoline Restore and Protect, nanoparticals. They added some nano particles to a test batch to see if it would improve some other aspect of the oil’s performance and discovered it actually cleaned the engine as well. Not sure if the cost they sell it at bears this out or not.

(or a little more) and need to top off the oil to get me through to my next Valvoline Restore and Protect oil change … Any real degradation in Valvoline Restore and Protect’s cleaning ability if I were to add some left over 1/2 qrt. or so of new Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 I have on hand ?

I’d have no issue with the Mobil 1 top off if I didn’t have another Valvoline product on hand or Valvoline Restore and Protect.

Just doing the math, a 0.5 quart addition to a 5 quart sump (just guessing) is only 10%. So 90% Valvoline Restore and Protect remaining. You'll be fine.

Personally, I don’t like to mix oils. And honestly, I wouldn’t have a problem with an engine being half a quart low on oil until I was able to get it topped off.

In the grand scheme of things, it probably won’t hurt anything. But personally, it’s not something I would do.

The more I’ve learned from BITOG over the years is this: only mix when you’d be without oil otherwise. Short term fine. Long term not something to do regularly, playing backyard chemist and certainly it shortens the OCI to severe service.

What is stopping you from topping off with Valvoline Restore and Protect? They sell it in 1qt bottles too - Walmart.

When it comes to cleaning. M1 has always said, change oil at 3k miles.
