I have a couple questions about a blend i concocted using two different valvoline motor oils,to resolve a low oil pressure issue and correct it in a 1988 Toyota 4x4 Xtra Cab V6 3.0l 3vze engine equipped pickup truck,i mixed 2 1/2 quarts of valvoline vr1 racing 20w50 conventional motor oil with 2 quarts of napa premium conventional 10w30 motor oil (napa premium is made by valvoline),and i was wondering what viscosity i should have with this mixture,it brought the oil pressure up alot, and reduced valve ticking noises by 90%,and i was curious if this oil would be suitabale for year round use. It gets cold snaps down 15 - 20* f here in the winter on cape cod,i am guessing this is about a 15w viscosity blend. Input appreciated, sorry to be so long winded
