If I manufactured toothbrushes, I'd recommend a new one weekly. :)
I would pay 2x as much for one that lasts a month …
Now, if there is “help on the way” with mandates … we won’t be able to afford toothpaste so the deal comes tumbling down …
 
Blather aimed at making money. That and I'd bet the majority of their customers put off oil changes, so the 3k conventional OCI will frequently be 5k.
Yeah, seems an oil maker calling it synthetic should be able to go the distance that an OEM approval calls for … (that it carries)
 
I will say that I always change my oil at 5000 mi or 6 mo, which ever comes first and I typically use a name brand synthetic like Valvoline, Pennzoil, or Mobil. I know this is probably overkill, but I am not coming down to 4 months any time soon.
 
I just did 5 intervals with two cars. I ran 5k mile intervals. I don't feel it can last much longer. Just my gut feeling.
Enjoy the cleaning ability and healthy engine accomplished with a great oil.
