I went to Valvoline Instant Oil Change and got a oil change with the MLFS. I asked the manager how long it should last and he said I should change it at 3,000 miles. Can you believe that?
Give me a break.

I wonder how long it should last?

2003 Camry 4 banger with 84,000 miles.

(The oil change sticker does say 3,000 miles for the next change)

I'd think if you ran it consistently w/out adding other oils into the mix, 10k OCIs would be easy.

Valvoline as a company does not think that extended drains hold any merit. Correct? However, they do claim they will cover any warrenty issues in regard to veh manufacturer recommended OCI. In other words, of Honda claims you can go a minimum of 5k, the Valvoline feels their oil will do that.
