Valvoline Maxilife ATF in GM tranny=problem?

I read on another thread that a fellow BITOGer had poor results when he used this ATF in his Buicks A/T. When he changed back to Supertech his A/T ran smoothly again. Has anybody else had problems with Valvoline Maxlife ATF in a GM application or was this an isolated case?

Why use it?
If your transmission is functioning normal and doesn't leak, just use normal dexronIII.

That stuff sucked in my 2001 Accord. After about 5,000 miles the transmission started acting up, I drained and filled w/M1 then but the Honda Stuff back in, transmission was never the same since adding the Maxlife, sold the car...
