Valvoline Cash Back-$5

Anyone tried more than 6? I currently have gotten 6 back but I’ll have a few more before the rebate period ends, just wondered if it worked after 6.

Panhandlers around here are going high tech.
Starting to see their signs with "hit my Venmo" and their addy.
So many younger people barely carry cash anymore. As a begger, you have to adjust or you will go the way of blockbuster, sears, etc.

I bet they heard "I don't have any cash" so many times that one of them realized there had to be a solution. I also think that some people have online shopping addictions and doing a transaction in venmo, even if its giving away money, likely gives them a little endorphin rush and feeds their addiction, as weird as that sounds.

6 different orders.

And they will not do more than a $20 rebate per order.

I wasn't aware of the 6-item limit. I ordered 11 (20-quart) econoboxes from Valvoline's website. When I submitted all of them as one order, they would only approve $20. I divided each box (which had a different tracking number) into separate orders, and they cut me off at 6. I did the other 5 boxes under my wife's name.

All in all, I got an amazing deal for Maxlife ATF and Restore & Protect. There was a special promotion where they offered me 25% off their econoboxes.

Bought 2 jugs of Valvoline 5w-30 EP HM and received $10 by Venmo. Two days.
I was thinking about buying Valvoline R&P 5 quart jugs and wanted the latest info on how to ensure the rebate works.

Was reading about people having issues getting the rebate.

What was the sequence of events you did:

1. Did you give it your email / phone # first, and then buy the oil?
2. If I buy six 5 quart jugs on 1 recepit at Walmart, is it likely they would send me $30?

Go to the link submit name, email and sms text (cell number) and pic of Walmart receipt. Two days later a sms txt is received and tries to authenticate u.
Also u need to install the Venmo app and link to your checking or banking account. I am not sure about sure about $30 rebate. Technically 6 rebates is the maximum per household.

Wait, I dont think this is totally true. I bought 6 jugs of restore and protect before the new year, submitted it within the past few weeks and got $30. But I could have sworn the limit was 6 jugs total per rebate period for $30 max

Thanks Patrick - Appreciate that info. Will look into Venmo. If it could also work with Paypal, that would make things easier.

I bought 11 Bay boxes in one order, and they only paid $20, I broke them down into 11 different delivery emails (yes each bay box had a different tracking number/delivery confirmation) and individually the paid $20 each then, it was very annoying.

The payout per transaction might be higher, especially since Jugs would cost more then a the baybox back in December, now the bayboxes are not worth it, they are crazy expensive...

Interesting so did they send you a total of $240 to the same venmo or PayPal?

I understand why they did $20. A 20qt box is equivalent to four 5 qt jugs. $5 x 4 jugs = $20

I initially got VRP with no knowledge of this rebate. Until going through this forum. My rebate has been fully processed. This is how it should look on PayPal, if this is the method you chose. Listed as aisle.

it can also be part of a scam. According to the card processing rules, no receipt = much difficult to dispute transactions.

People swipe thinking that they're giving $2, but it's actually $500 and it's 2 weeks until they figure it out. and rules covering debit cards are different from credit cards.

yes, I know.....roll your eyes.
