I just looked at the product data sheet for this and it looks like a pretty good oil for the price. Has anyone used this one yet?? Here's the link to the data sheet . I like the TBN of 10 for an oil that has CJ-4 approval. Also does anyone know if this is the same oil that Napa sells as their 15W40 store brand?

I haven't used it, but the numbers look decent for a CJ4 product. It looks like the Fleet oils are just a lesser known version of the more common (in this case VPB) with slightly different characteristics . I certainly don't think they are inferior...

Ashland IS valcoline Premium blue etc. I have run it in my 2002 cummins with no problems...I use the Premium BLue in my 2007 cummins

I noticed that this available in 10w-30, but I had not found the VPB in such; perhaps it's just an issue of the marketing literature.

Regardless, this looks decent, especially if it can be had for a good price. Sometimes the "fleet" oils are a bit more bargin priced, but also a bit down on additives. Overall, this one looks reasonable.

Fleet oils typically have a minimum add pack to just meet CJ-4 (including All Fleet Plus). It's not uncommon to have "synthetic" oils that also use a bare minimum API add pack with a higher VI base oil.
