Truck seems to have lessened the fuel dilution but was flagged for tin. I don't recall ever seeing or reading about elevated tin before.
What do you think?

Silver is a bit elevated as well. Silver and tin are both commonly used in the overlays on tri-metal bearings. I don't know if they're ever used in combination in the same bearing, but it could be that one is coming from the main bearings, and the other from the rod bearings. I'd try to find out what the main and rod bearings in this engine are made from.

Tin can also come from bronze, but if that was the case, copper should be elevated as well.

Thanks for the replies. I will dig in to see if I can get the material makeup of the bearings.
These engines are pretty well known for bottom end failures. There is lots of speculation about the cause(es). The most common failure is a catastrophic type of failure of rod and main bearings. Here are the older samples that had silver at 1 ppm for a long period of time with several 10,000 mile runs. I've lessened the OCI because of fuel dilution.
