^ It's true, they would rather have someone a dollar cheaper and make it middle management's fault they aren't managing them right.

Interesting you mention this....I have also seen this scenario ONCE....It seemed so weird too, but I'm glad I'n not the only one that notices some of the complete assininity that can been seen very regularly in most businesses.

My conclusion after 30 years in the work world-----

Most of the time the degree of utter incompetence, lack of integrity, and sleaziness, is far far worse in the ownership and management of most businesses than in the pool of ordinary employees just coming to work and trying to get the job done.

Again. It all starts at the top.

Well, its their money and you dont have to work there... Dont like it? Go walk, right???????

!!UPDATE!!!!**** The useless worker showed up this morning whining and complaining and pleading his case to my boss. I guess he said some dumb stuff to another employee and that employee told our regional manager and chief manager for my company. They in turn told my boss to FIRE the guy. I am so ecstatic and excited, as this means some OT for me whenever I want it. I will gladly make what I make and do some tires and pm's in my spare time anyday of the week.

Glad I have a case of Yuengling Black and Tan and some of Yuengling Oktoberfest left as well. I am on vacation wed thru next monday also.

Great week to you gentlemen here at BITOG!

Absolutely. I have walked away from many jobs, gladly. Because I am a competent and hard working individual that adds value to a organization I need them LESS, than they need me.

It's quite satisfying to hear about the disasters that befall those same places I walked away from months or years later from former co workers that said once I left things totally fell to pieces without any decent management from folks like myself.

Many have gone out of business due to incompetent ownership and management.

@silverCivic:

TERRIFIC.....there still is some logic and reasonable managers left in the US today.

So did you get to see the "young punk" mumbling to himself as he walked out the door? I hope so.

I wish nothing but the best for great people and I guess its true about karma it is a beast(for lack of a better word). I dont miss that slacker one bit. Yuengling in PA is easy to find, dont know about Vegas thogh.
